Poem Artwork

A memory trapped in time

Relived in constant grind

Reac havoc with the mind

The human mind is a frail composition

Delicate neurons, vulnerable contrition

Makes one able to take the blame for someone elses crime against you

This may seem completely illogical, but none the less it’s true

There are a million ways to be taken advantage off, and a million ways to take the pain to heart

The predator is always keen on taking your mind hostage, and will see your defeat, your breakdown as their true work of art

One wich gives them a sense of pride and fulfillment, to have created such a mess of a breakdown on wich they can blame all their mistakes on, to gain sympathy for

They will smelt your psyche, and forge it in their own form, changing it’s very core

What are these predators looking for when they pick their victim?
It’s my understanding they will look for someone with a compassionate heart, someone who has a great deal of strength in their mind and soul.

The greater the strength, the more satisfaction it will bring them when they succeed to tear their victim apart

They are drawn to kindness, to light, to spirits filled with happiness,

once you’re trapped in their net they will start to press you into their mold

Isolate you and turn your friends and family against you so that you’re trapped all alone , out in the cold

This is when the real breakdown of your mind will commence, no mercy, no empathy, no regret for the torment they put you through, you will not be able to believe that someone can be that cruel

You will start to make excuses for them,

make yourself a culprit, all the while you are slave under their rule

This is when it gets real dangerous, the beatings will start

Or the repeated ripping out of your heart

Until you are in so much pain that you don't want to live anymore,

You are no longer the happy, loving soul that you used to be before

So remember this

If someone in your life starts pulling away from the world, becoming someone you don’t recognize

Know that you need to help them break free, help them realise

They’re not to blame, they are merely the victim of someone elses game
A puppet lost in a puppeteers world

A victim of the unimaginably absurd
