Poem Artwork

Dancing, dancing dreams
rainbow mind, no place in
this world

Haven't you heard?

Many forms in one
daunting

Many feelings
haunting

Many ways in wich to sway
to the
universal symphony

Preaching empathy
over fears

The age of aquarius
these years

Flowing water
laqrimae

Children learn
never stay

Growing with
each stray

Leaving footprints
delve

Making sense
of self

in

Disorderly world

Becoming the absurd

one way street
on which true self

cannot meet
true self

Becoming black and white

What a profound ending! To think we have such possibilities early on, loving almost everything that comes in view. And especially the colors that both entice and enrich us. What is it about life that ends up with drawing all these lines not to step across, clearly telling us what is black and what is white. Even though they're really not.

What is wrong with rainbows anyway? They aren't hurting anybody. Why hate them because they are the way they are? Everyone had a time when everything was accepted for what it was. What happened to that wonderful process? Who decides what is moral and what is not.
