Rain your beauty across the sky

Poem Artwork

Looking within
writing begin

A journey of the soul
thought-fingers prowl

Landscape where all can be seen
inside the essence of a waking dream

Rainbows, stars, moons and gold
neatly tucked away from the fold

Reflections of past experience
let out to bleed our reference

Frame of who we once were
placed in open to further deter

Or golden ore that we hit before
and where we want to excavate some more

Sailing off to another distant shore
to see what tomorrow has in store

Shareware within our mind
so many jewels to be found

Pieces of the puzzle set ablaze
to light way in our inner maze

Pour them out to walk forward with ease
wanting nought but ourselfs to please

Mind of color, mind of eternal flame
don't drown yourself in shame

Find another trail over which to fly
and place your pieces across the sky

Rain your beauty for all to see
shed your scars so you can be

Guiding light to future self astray
bringing further solace to disarray
