Cracked pavement, broken kids,
system that break the kind and 
and give strength to the bullys.

Send your kids to school with head 
hanging, life will shattered.
Tell them they will be safe, even though 
they know your 'help' will only make 
things worse, the bully is in total control,
protected by the system as the bully is.

For every tear that falls from your childs eye,
their heart breaks a little more, splinters 
lining the cracks in the pavement,
silent tears vaporize and vanish.

A sadistic laughter echo 
round the bend of broken dreams,
rolling down the hill of trauma 
and back up again
over and over.

A vicious cycle that can't be broken
by negotiations, firm words, weak hands,
empty promises or even the best of intentions.

You simply cannot talk a bully out of bullying,
it's a fools errand, a Sisyphean task.
