Poem Artwork

Love is a silent stalker,
love is a sweet talker.
Love is a raging storm,
love is making me torn,
into pieces,
if it pleases
me and you.

Moving your way brazen and bold,
don't leave me out here in the cold.
Your face is all I see before me.
Night and day, with you I sway.
This sweet aching pain,
I want it to remain,
forever more,
forever more.

I wonder can you feel it to?
All consuming through and through.
I love you
I need you
Only you

Be my lover and my friend,
this love heaven send.
My way, your way,
together to sway.

Stars in the sky
They know I try
Never ask why

Destiny calling, screaming my name.
Into this everlasting raging flame.
Burning me up from inside.
Leaving me open wide.
Don't leave me here in shame.
My love as I whisper your name.
I'm yours to heaven, to hell and back.
My sacrifices for you in piles I stack
them up one by one.
You my smoking gun.

I'm yours my love forever more
as I'm drawn to your wayward shore
Soaking wet and ready for you
To pierce me through and through

The edge of time can be eternal when we hurt or love. Well done Elizabeth.

Very passionate and definitely describing what love does to us. You really reach a pinnacle in the end. While I'm not fond of piercing even though it's been around since the beginning of civilization and used to signify something I can't quite fathom.

I know you meant something different, but I just thought I would throw that in as I think about how I might go about piercing without using needles or other sharp objects. How about poetry?
