Poem Artwork

It should be like the warm breeze,
sun on my face, birds chatter,
feeling so content and at ease.

Leaned back in my favourite chair,
feat up, eyes closed, in the moment
a complete and satisfying inward stare.

Just letting my mind wander as it please,
want nothing but eternity in this warm embrace,
this content and blissful moment of peace.

I imagine worlds collide and mingle inside,
stars allign and shine for you and me,
exposed with no need to hide.

No mask, no adjustment to fit in,
fully accepting eachother
,
this is when healing begin.

Your image shows what your poem professes. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everybody thought like that?

Lovely, relaxing thoughts. My favorite line: "Want nothing but eternity in this warm embrace." Perfectly said.

As your poem suggests, for the authentic self to immerge and stay upright, there has to be honesty in all expressions. Such behavior is a beacon or one's aura reaching out for connection. Sounds as if you have one. Peace and long life to you.

Those moments are ones to be treasured and stored away where we can recall them when the clouds turn dark. Well done Elizabeth.
