WOULD YOU LOVE ME? Would you love me if I told you I was in love with a man? Would you love me if I told you I was in love with a minor? Would you love me if I told you I was in love with a relative? Would you love me if I told you I was in love with a transsexual? Would you love me if I told you I hated white people? Would you love me if I told you I did not believe in God? Would you love me if I told you I wanted to change my gender? Would you love me if I told you I raped a woman? Would you love me if I told you I molested a child? Would you love me if I told you I stole some jewelry? Would you love me if I told you I just sniffed cocaine? Would you love me if I told you I became a prostitute? Would you love me if I told you I killed a person under the influence? Would you love me if I told you I had sex with a married woman? Would you love me if I told you I had sex with a married man? Would you love me if I told you I was a republican? Would you love me if I told you I was a democrat? Would you love me if I told you I was a conservative? Would you love me if I told you I enjoyed child porn? Would you love me if I told you I enjoyed orgies? Would you love me if I told you I enjoyed cutting myself? How deep is your love for me? Is it like an ocean? Or like a puddle? Can you only love me when I agree with you? Or does it end once we disagree? Can I sin and you still find love for me? Or do you prefer I be perfect? Could you still love me even if I didn’t love you? Would you still love me?

Yes, I agree with John Domino. Jesus would accept lovingly of those apparent failures of "moral" society.

For me, there are some I would accept as very positive, even though the majority might think them negative. But for some, I see a strange desire to hurt oneself or others. In that case, I would forgive the past, but work towards understanding why what is different is harmful and needs to be stopped or changed.

When it comes to love of a romantic type, some of these more aberrant desires carried out there is often a codependent partner in the activity. If a bad behavior is supported by a loving partner, it becomes harder to change.
