If I had a time machine

I wonder where I’d go

Back two generations

To meet friends I used to know?

Or slip away farther still

To when man began to fly

Or take the journey eons hence

To when reptilians began to die

Time’s paradox would have me leave

Every thing I saw unscathed

To prevent time’s ripple washing over

Exposing journeys not yet swathed

The possibilities endless

The future beckons too

So I’d set the controls into a loop

And spend eternity with you
