Organized religion seems to be doing more harm than good these very sad days. Although it probably has done more harm than good throughout mankind's history, causing many bloody wars.
Probably why I prefer to do my worshiping in the great outdoors, not in a man-made church.
Great words to live by, Patrick, and so well said. Problem is, their higher power wants those that believe in our Higher power dead, and they have so many that are more than willing to oblige.

I'll follow your credo, believing in that Higher Power who, if necessary, goes on all fours, carrying someone else's burden... hmmm... where have I heard THAT one before?! :)) I believe the trouble is not with God, but in what man has made Him. He made us One and (wo)man has caused the division. This is really good stuff - in content as well as tightly delivered form. Great! xx
