Just Whimsy

You can grab the moon and tango When you’re dancing with stars With castanets do the fandango When you’re dancing with the stars Ride a comet’s sparkling tail When you’re dancing with the stars With the Crab Nebula as your veil When you’re dancing with the stars Kiss Jupiter on his cheek When you’re dancing with the stars Part Venus’s clouds and peek When you’re dancing with the stars Wear your heart upon your sleeve When you’re dancing with the stars Accomplish anything that you believe When you’re dancing with the stars As the dawn begins to break While you’re dancing with the stars From your dream you will awake Your heart dancing with the stars Copyright 2010 Patrick Granfors

Light and whimsical....way better than that tv show! Just can't watch that stuff! I love dancing and love to dance, but the parade/charade on tv is toooooo much! Oh my, I've been on a rant haven't I? giggle Enjoyed your poem, Patrick!

I do all my dancing with my sweetie and rather than parting Venus's clouds, we've been dancing on them. Not sure that's a dream that I want to awaken from, but I love your sentiments.... Nicely done. Thanks Patrick. Dick
