The Dueling Poets Series
Final Write For 2009

-->

Keeper Of The Golden Pen

The Great Canadian Buzzard, half of this poetry team
The other is The Mouth Of The South, the talented one it seems
For when she takes to write, with that great golden pen
It makes me glad and very proud, to be able to call her friend

I place these pretty roses, upon this page for her
For there is no doubt in my mind, the pen she does deserve
Well as I bow to this lovely ladies greatness, as the year 2009 ends
I'd like to tell you that I'm sure glad, that we're the best of friends

She has burnt my feathers and locked me up, this I do admit
This year that has quickly passed us bye, I've been in a lot of shit
I'm sure you will agree with me, as I bow and wave this flag so white
Yes I'd do it all again tomorrow, for I love the way she fights

The Mouth has fought an honorable duel, to the very end
But if I needed some help along the way, on her I could depend
This wonderful talented lady, the queen of the graphic world
Has posted me and all my friends, as everything but girls

I know I spit and wine allot, as I write my buzzard verse
But then picture me in a skirt, I'm sure that could be worse
Mouth I send many thanks to you, for not posting me as the girl
The buzzard has not the legs for it and wouldn't look good in curls

Well My Dear Sweet Friend you have done the almost impossible by rendering me speechless. Im afraid the Mouth Title does not apply right now. When I read this last nite it was through many tears. You have so deeply touched my heart. Oh you have many times since we met, but my precious friend this time was different. I can not begin to tell you how much I so enjoy our written quips back and forth and my sweet Buzzard a poet you most certainly are. U Da Man Ray...
With us being who we are I know as sure as Im sitting here our Duel will begin again. Its just who we are...

I love you my Sweet Buzzard
Kisses
The Mouth singing off
for now...

Oh and George....

Ray, I read this early AM and it has taken me till now to find my words. You and Donna are so very special to my heart. Always have been, always will be.

This is beautiful my friend, and touched my heart deeply. I know I have given you a very hard time through this series, but I hope you know it was all in good fun. "Poet? It depends on who you ask." Well I tell you true, you are a poet and a damn good one. I will be looking forward to when you and Donna find your way to another adventure. Hugs, Lesa

To Friends And Fans

I feel that friends like all of you, are good as any gold
So I'm sending out many thanks, to all my friends new and old
Some of you joined in on the fun, as the year passed us bye
To say it didn't pass much too quickly, well that would be a lie

Thank you for all your comments and your very kind words
