I also wrote this poem in 2004, after the teacher was convicted of pedophilia. I was deeply hurt, the boys he molested were students of mine. I still pray for these boys every day. May God forgive this man for the terrible thing that he has done to those poor brothers. The unfortunate thing is the two brothers were being raised by a single mom. This teacher took advantage by portraying himself as a father figure.

You allowed the vile one to come in and erode your core values What happened to your self-discipline? you must fight back! A determined and willing spirit always find ways to regain strength Deep inside lies the depth that guides to victory Even at the dawn of darkness GLORY can once again impress ITS' IMPRINTS UPON YOUR SOUL !!!!!!!!!!

Powerful words of wisdom,Nicole! It is so disturbing especially on Father's day to read of men behaving so horribly!Yet, it happens far too often! I can't understand the mind that allows man or woman to commit such acts, It seems they just don't want to give up their shameful ways!...ET
