Voices are heard in so many ways, often taken for granted.

Poem Artwork

 I think

you think

with words in my head

speach that has emotion

feels happiness

feels dread.

You speak

I speak

with words from our mouths

talking together

our voices

aloud.

I hear

you hear

singing from afar

transmitted across the ether

in hundreds of languages

voices

that are heard

voices

that are shared

voices in many forms

heard everywhere.

Next Arrivals by Robin Ouzman Hislop

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
