It is only because The Lord loves me and never gave up on me...that I am still alive today. It is through His teachings...His Word...that I came and continuously come, to know Him more and more. All I can say is, thank God for His Word...thank God, that for all those who will harken and believe...thank God that He ever 'teaches'...'the Power of Salvation'...through His Gospels.
Let's Press on!

Poem Artwork

Through many a years

of countless falls I've come

I'll never know..

all the things You've saved me from

Teach me, O Lord, Teach me.

Sometimes up and sometimes down

just You...and just me

You showed me how to hold You tight

persuing...Salvation's victory

Teach me, O Lord, Teach me.

Nestled within the safety of Your arms...

we've grown closer...you and I

me coming to 'trust' the breast...leaned upon

albeit...distress, concerns and heavy sighs

Teach me, O Lord, Teach me.

All through the ages...we will go

...my comforter and loyal friend

some battles won...some seemingly lost

Your will enduring...until the end.

And then one day...bearing battle scars

but with a mind stayed on You

I'll  walk boldly up to those pearly gates

...and what will be my passport through?

Signed...with Your Prescious Blood

...My Degree...

~The Lord Taught Me!~

Beautiful! Your poem makes me think of the phrase, "Never stop learning." By the same token we can look to Him to teach us.

I would not be here either if the Lord's angels had not saved me time and time again. A powerful reminder, Joyce. Thank you. Love and blessings to you,
