God thinks we were worth His Son's suffering and death...were we? How do we 'show' that we were? The Word of God says, '...How shall we escape if we 'neglect' so great salvation....' So I ask again...were we worth it? Let's show it...! Pressing on!

I am so sure that God would not sacrifice anything or anyone for no reason. Because God is spirit (a Wholy Ghost), our lifestyle was foreign to Him, and that is the reason He sent someone to experience life as man does; this would, in turn, give Him a more complete understanding of the life of man and their problems relating to the Spirit of God. After the experiences of Christ, God has taken a human understanding to heart--He has forgiven us because He has seen life on earth and its trials to be too much for man. Not one moment of His experiences was in vain--not one.
Joyce, a poignant question we must keep continually in our conscious thoughts. A scale of value to rate our personal deeds and actions minute by minute, day by day. With such unbelievable love streaming our way from God, why are we so fragile and uncertain of our steps, our deeds,our thoughts? We are weak,we are sinners and totally dependent upon His support in everything we do. May love and peace be always with you my friend. Jon Michael
Hopefully its not in vain because if he lives in our veins then everything he's done and all his love will run on in us and keep loving the world through our giving, compassion and caring for one another. Very nice work!
Nicely done, Joyce! Its easy to understand why one would ask the questions you wrote about here....is our world any better today than it was 2,000 years ago? Me thinks NOT!!
It's good to question, Joyce, even if it's thetorical or a challenge to personal belief; many will have different answers and arguments, many will doubt and deny, many will say yes.
