'...God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect..." Heb 11:40

Poem Artwork

So terrible this thing

so deep this sting

that 9 should fall

from a demented sling

We've seen his eyes

they don't even cry

but 'haters' go this way

full of loathe and wry

What a wretching...hearts catching

for there sits a magistrate

with no sympathy for innocent 9's fate

But for the killer

he did empathize...for him

and family...he could relate

Thus, no need to wonder why

the young gunmen has no want to cry

with influence such as this...nearby

But, oh! How the biers

of 9...does glow

as their dying perpetuates

a glory show

For our God is using

this dispicable task

shaping it into such a Noble Flask

Out of it flows...near and far

the calls for solid unity

to stand...and at last...bring down

that flying mockery!

May the memory of these 9

forever shine

may we never forget

how their dying did incline

The removal from sight

a flag...that plagues day and night

the memory of rancid times...

divided days...of wrath and plight

Some say, 'tis enough...

'tis enough, O God!

the blood of the innocent

doth again wet the sod

But always...

have we not known pain?

and so often stood loss

the cost...for such...our gain?

We will ever high...hold

these 'witness' souls

who has passed on to their reward

now 'Him' do they behold

We step into the font of tears

of those they left...who held them dear

our hearts doth weep...their aches we feel

Lord comfort them with each pangs peal

One day we all...the 'washed' mankind

will pass from here...to eternity bind

and call ourselves privileged to find

we walk the path forged for all time

by the steps of martyrs...
