Lord...Please Help Me To Reserve Judgment

The Word of God says when we break one law(commandment), we've broken them all. There is no 'little' sin or 'big' sin. Sin is Sin. And since the Word of God says we've all sinned, how can we judge another? Shall we not pray for their repentance...that God will do for them...what He's done for us?
Let's Press-on

Poem Artwork

Many years ago, me worldly and about

two others and I decided to do a 'girls night out'

We went to the movies, dinner and had drinks

returned to an abode, to drink more, talk and think

We began conversing about many a thing

and then it happened...a momentary fling

One of the women and I...our lips met in a kiss

there was no fondling...no bliss

But later on I remember recalling that

within seconds homosexuality could've been my hat

Why wasn't it, I asked myself...why didn't I turn?

seemed male aura was stronger...for it I yearned

So, you ask...why am I sharing this?

for sure it's not to boast that being gay isn't my gist

But when I stop and think on the other things I’ve done

I realize I never could...based on sexuality...a person shun

Yes...I know homosexuality is against God's Law

but isn't murder, fornication, lying and adultery…a flaw?

Should we categorize wrongs with our own test?

or should we all to the title 'sinner'...answer...yes?

So, I've never made love to another woman...true

but what about the other things that I used to do?

There were many sins and Jesus has more to slay

that's why each and every day I pray and  say;

Dear God...let Salvation's Light brightly glow

what You've done for me...do for others also

And remind we...that in all my good intents

Lord...please help me to reserve judgment
