The King of Kings...Died for me!
That He didn't come down
because of me- is astounding
it boggles the...mind!
Me- chaff on the wind...filthy
so far away from anything
even remotely...sublime
Yet, He hung there
and died
because across the ages -me
He spied
Once...Calvary's depth
I really did not fully understand
but now...it is clear
I- was always in His Plan!
Ah Ageless Lamb!
what can I say...what can I do
but take a stand
ere what others may think or
how others may act
I plant my troth in this land!
Pelted with the world's hate
and marked rejection
I will hold Galgotha high
and bathe...in its reflection!
Within the bitter freeze of snow
despite the looks...that sting
riding tempests that punish so!
and the innuendoes that ring...
Through carnality's sway
and daily subjections...
pressing - making my way
ignoring the tireless objections...
His Priceless Gift emblazons this heart!
forever mine...twill always be
I shall hold...dear...never...to depart
this Blessed Revelry...
The King of Kings! He Died...for me!

The passover happened: Then centuries later, at the same hour that passover was being celebrated and lambs were being slaughtered, the Lamb of God was slain at the very same hour. Te end of the old and the beginning of the New. Gods chosen race never quite comprehended what they were chosen for. Twelve apostles became the new 12 tribes and along with St Paul history died and a new life begun. It is here in the Holy Spirit that abides within.
Ageless lamb is a blessed gift.
Beautiful poetry in his name.
Blessings of faith,
Lady Mary Ann
The conquering Lion of Judah,
When He comes again it won't
be for dying, but to gather us home,
into His many mansions.
Well done, Joyce, a nice piece of work!

Love ya!
