Seeing...clear and Pressing-on!

Poem Artwork

Taking the time

to bring to mind

some beautiful things

one might think of...

the ray of a burning sunset

caressing a deserted bay

or, a mount's snow-capped

regal display.

Maybe there'd be thoughts of lilies

in a virgin field

 serenaded by a church bell's

sweet melodious peal

then, perhaps...a child's laughter

and innocent sing...

of seeing marvelous wonders in the air

that wing.

Then there's the scarcely heard brush

of a wind's blow

 and a midnight's mesmerizing...

celestial glow

while recalling the tap of warm waters

on a window pane

 and yet...the contentment with poverty

which has riches...beyond gain.

Indeed, arresting the mind's eye

 could be numerous finds

still...we'd meet a cry with every spy

that would dominate the...hind

for, dispelling the haze

with every gaze...

 out of the vast clatter

of those substitute things

the..Magnificent...would rise

 outshining all other sighted...flings.

As...Absolutely Nothing...spied

could dim...the Wonder, yea...

the Glory of Calvary's Sting

albeit, the world's...

'Most' Beautiful Thing

...JESUS!

Yes, JESUS, He is the most wonderful;
He is lovely second to none.
We deserve the right to give Him praise!
Well done, Joyce!

Jesus Christ was a remarkable man, but he is not the reason why our world is so beautiful. It seems out of place that you would give him credit for your own talent in poetry.
