When I think about the atrocities that are occurring locally and internationally all I can say is, the conditions in this world are getting worse and worse, waxing... cold and colder. I am grateful for the knowledge of a true and living God and for the 'warmth' of His Love
Song of Solomon 8:7... exegesis. No waters, or storms, can quench Christ's love for us, nor can any floods drown it. Nor will life and all its comforts entice a true believer from loving the Risen Christ. The Love of Christ will enable us to repel and triumph over temptations, from the tempered smiles of the world, as well as from it's frowns. Let nothing abate our love to Him. Your love for the Creator is evident. Peace to you.
A study based on multiple factors showed that last year was the best year, worldwide, in recorded history. I attribute your fear, and those of many others, to the growing reporting of every little incident at lightning speed and with sensationalism to get attention.
We also tend to look at earlier times as better. It has also been proven that as we age we tend to forget bad things in favor of good memories and tend to think of earlier times as better times. My observation is just the opposite. If we compare the 20th century with the 21st from 1900 to 1916 much of the world was under colonialism, Jim Crow laws held Blacks in de facto slavery in much of the country, women could not vote a hurricane in Galveston killed 6000 residents, we were at war with Spain, and World War had already killed several million Europeans.

We all need to pray extra hard for bright, peaceful, new tomorrows. There is so much violence and negativity in places around the world. One needs something tangible to hang on to and that is God and his never ending love for us. .....M
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.
