While those under a dome of white
ignore our nation’s plight
to placate those who reward
with votes and monetary frills?!?
I know not one of those who
left this side to meet~the Son
I know not one~large or small~whose life
on this side is done
I only know the~Love~of God
that covers every soul~born!
I only know~once again

Pistols serve only one purpose, to kill humans. Assault rifles with huge magazines serve only one purpose, to kill many people as quickly as possible. Even using these weapons in war is repugnant. Citizens having them for "protection" is a fantasy born of fictional dramas and sensational stories. Boys will be boys and men will have toys. We need to get over our childish notion of how guns are fun.
