Those that do not have children who have been in and out of trouble will probably not be able to relate to this sharing. I am not such a person, indeed, I can relate and I have been inspired to pen this tribute to one whom some will feel doesn't deserve it. I know, I know he did wrong...I am not disputing this fact. But I am rejoicing that, in the end, He repented and gave his life to God. He came late but he came. Is there any other fate that we can hope for for our wayward children? No matter who we are or where we are in life consider...

He could have been yours... he could have been mine he came...rose to fame and...fell victim...to the ills of the time To now dwell on his manifested tainted deeds would be a waste rather, I am drawn to his loud statement of chaste John 3:16...are we not all entitled to this? was not God's promise for him too...writ? That he decided to exit the stage...to leave the play is a decision he made in his quiet...the reasons? are his to say No judgement here...for God makes it clear He alone...does such a task...bear I only pray that before his last breath was spent he and His Savior...were content Ah...Sweet Mercy and Sweet Grace! this world could not exist without...Love...of this kind Aaron... 1989 - 2017 He could have been yours... Jesus forgave the thief on a cross next to him at his last minute acceptance of Whom Jesus was. Even the last second!

I find it hard to idolize sports figures. Although those of superior physical capability generally have survived down through the ages over those who have not, particularly in the brutal prehistory era.

So I didn't look up who Aaron was or what trouble he was in. From the photo he looks like a football player that may have been in the recent news I turned off to.

I see nothing wrong with idolizing those who have gone astray with a good heart. I am arranging to write the story of a friend of mine who has been a prostitute, murderer, drug addict and assailant. Yet, a kinder, gentler person would be hard to find.
