When chin nestles chest

and a warm smile...becomes a pest

...remind us

When we forfeit soul's rest

for complaints and distress

...remind us

When we're reluctant to attest

that Jehovah is the best

but rather shrug and say, 'I guess'

and even sometimes ....jest

Lord, please...remind us!

Remind us of ...the Wood

which Graced...Golgotha's hood

Remind us of ...The Blood

which cleansed our miry mud

Remind us of...A Love...extending

through centuries...unending

Remind us of  The Dove's  presence

bringing back memories...a tranquil essence...

of...Tender,  All Powerful Arms

that silenced alarms

of...numerous mistakes and error

Lost Forever in...Forgiven Mirror

of... pain...and eyes that cried

but then The Physician...who healed and dried

of...unfair times and hew

yet...somehow...we came through

Father...! when we've fallen in a place... askew

and fail to climb for a  higher view

Dear God remind us...remind us, please...

of...YOU!
