Alone with Him...Focus. Open your mouth, sing Praises to 'Him' who Loves you as He is your Keeper and Provider. Then...press on! Blesu

Praise the King! each day with a song! giving Glory to Him…to whom we belong! from the heart let melodies depart adoring Creator…for breath…doth He impart distress not as to the sound as all our worship is heaven bound let choruses flow…not…to entertain but to homage…Him...who came and rescued us from hell’s fire…strong! I love religious songs and spirituals. They certainly do lift the spirit. Way back when I was in high school, I learned that when composers wrote some of the great hymns, they used familiar tunes from often bawdy tavern songs and then , changed the words. Since the tunes were familiar, people easily learned to sing them with the new words. One of the ways the church has censored expression over the centuries.
