There’s Something about Jesus, that’s exclusively…His

it’s a Kind of Uniqueness, which resides in Our God…

that’s impossible to mimic…and won’t ever 

 fizz

It’s…His Alone…not another can claim it

search as we may for a…match…that’s equal

we’ll never find one on land, or deepest pit!

One might encounter wisps of it, treading life’s plains

but the entirety of its eternal wealth…

is within…the Heart of Jesus…and remains

Around others…it…we can fail to distinguish

but when solo…floundering…all alone

with our faith being attacked beyond even a wish…

It’s then, this…Couture Thing…illuminates like  a beacon

reaching and saving, overlooking the fact…

‘twas us…who lost sight of its guide…for a season

It heals…every sustained hurt…completely rescuing

…it pampers…and carries us…

with whispered vows…of our renewing

Oh, what is this…Redeeming Fan…that refuses to look back…

while refreshing and strengthening…

never rubbing salt…in our human lack?

You know what it is... This Pure Sweet…Passion…

that nothing surpasses, a Glorious Band…

which …God Alone…metes…in equal ration

For, where others would justifiably…kill…

we find it there…endlessly tolerant beyond measure…

overflowing with Mercy and Grace pardon, still!

Endured…because of it…was great strife

the root of which surrendered everything, for us

…invariably, it kept nothing back…even life!

With Tenderest Compassion, it nurtures, never to desist

thus, holding us…tight…within its protection…

it retains secured…our Prophesied…final lift!

Albeit, many reject This Rare Light From Above…

yet, truth can’t be denied...so, what's that... Something... about  Jesus...?
