What an Unsolvable Mystery Jehovah is! Who can understand Him(Is 55:8-9)? So, we go on from day to day hardly knowing how but, we trust in Him who surely takes us through, even while...we sleep. Amen.

Poem Artwork

Where did we go…while I slept?

what mountains and rivers…were leapt?

Through what tunnels did we travel...

leaving footprints upon unknown gravel?

What mysteries were revealed…

that You, in Your Wisdom…have concealed?

For, here I find myself awakened

with the drudge of yesterday…forsaken

Yet, so aware...that though I did dream…

there is nothing to remember, it seems

But You were there, Jehovah…in Your Silent Way

infusing with guidance unto another day

And now, duly revived and adept…

I do wonder, where did we go…while I slept?

Psalm 4:8

One of your best. The question is easy for me to answer. You slept well and didn't and didn't miss anything of any importance while you were sleeping. I believe that little purpose of sleep. Not to dream of impossible, but to rest our weary minds from the often, agitated turmoil of the day. Maybe that's why we teach our children that famous prayer… "Now I lay me down to sleep…"

A question worth asking, but one no mortal can truly answer. I know one thing for certain: when I wake up each morning, I know that we as believers are one day closer to the Blessed Hope. Titus 2:13. Enjoyed. rlc

A thought-inciting write, Joyce. I often have very vivid dreams that seem like reality. However, there are also many times when I awaken and do not recall where I might have gone. Love, peace, and blessings to you,

Regis. 🌸🌹🌲🌳🍁

It is an interesting question that you handle so gracefully, Joyce. Perhaps we go to many places, all under the protection of the One who protects our souls as we wander through the night. Lovely.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
