77 years ago today

God breathed life…into 

this lump of clay 

Into existence I came

to a woman I’ve never met 

who left me, due to shame

But, it was entirely God’s will

this conclusion I have reached…

is without mistake

For, He primed me…

and kneaded me well…

to take all…I had to take

He’s Writer, producer and

director of this, my story…

which is...His...on-going play

And seeing…within me

where nobody else can…

He atones my erred sashays

Now, while I’ve walked …there were

things I have done, regrettably…

that were wrong

And …I’m grateful to Him

for teaching, how…to turn…

with repent-full song

It was while traveling on

that notable …wide-road…

in a vacant hour...

That His gleaming light

found and guided me to…

narrow-road’s…Tower

There I’ve remained…content

walking with Mercy and Grace…

choosing…to abide 

And He never ceases to 

mold me, in ways He sees fit... 

His...joy unspeakable…presides 

I know, void the Presence of Him

I never would've survived those...

low places…nor reached, my brims

Albeit, before my first cry…dawned

God has...Always Loved Me…from

77 years ago, today…and beyond
