Solo…into the vaults of ‘once upon a time’…

deliberately, we step

while smiling at scenes of happiness…

we now leap pools we’ve wept

Just as we begin to revel in our own tenacity…

to have foraged through

we survey closer…and become aware…

there was a ‘watcher’ in that view

It is with this admittance, we do concede

we would not have overcome at all …

if...a faithful and committed guide

had not led us out of shadowed halls

For some, peering the desolations and caves…

0f yesterday

can be one harrowing and depressing trek, except…

they are able to say…

There in the clefts and unexpected crevices

of our various stories…

found, was…The Love of God, which rescued us

albeit…We Give Him Glory!
