it bulldozes its way into our peace
entering in a…boastful…way
If we do not discern, closely…
it can drown-out the melodies of…
Faith’s Bray.
Though to all, such times…will…visit
be aware…
persevering…bars…will also rise from ‘One’
As chords high and lifted enter...
notes...of overcoming songs ring, which are…
celestial spun.
Soaring above the distressful racket…
heard are words…music...of ancient times
inspired by God, written with prophetic hands
Purposely filling our ears, it routs the dross...
as spiritual clamor…leads us to a calm plane
infusing with …strengthening strands.
From a treasured ageless…realm
messages of chiming alphas dutifully reach…
bringing assurances… that soothe
Yea, songs formed eons ago…vibrate
telling of…His Everlasting Love…for us
O Rapha, our Rapha…We Hear…You!

I often find myself singing Amazing Grace or even Rock of Ages, knowing that they were once tavern songs that Christians saw fit to use the melodies but change the words for a very pleasant and peaceful result.
