There is emptiness in life that is undeniable. Being deprived of a necessity that causes’ suffering reminds (me) that we are nothing more than an augmentation of the earth and always in need of a continual in-filling of Spirit.
No matter how strong we become, or what we have, or dream of having, or have accomplished, or dream of accomplishing, this fact remains ensconced to remind us that on this level of corporeal existence we are incomplete and always in need of something we don't have.
I am always thankful for those moments when the absence of false hope and depression allow an exhilarating state of focus and optimism to co-exist together in a kind of harmonious balance that produces the kind of life that blesses another. Light and Wisdom ...
