I consider myself to be an extremely lucky man
To be able to share my love of animals with her
And what a better time to honor my Cat Woman
Then ‘Adopt A Cat Month’ listening to them purr

Each and every feline in our home loves her immensely
They gather around her for the love she provides them
And, I love watching them all, as they flock to her side
Their immense love and affection for her, is without end

All of our felines were once lonely, hungry, homeless, street orphans
Most people simply ignore them when they see them out on the streets
But each and every time that I've rescued one, and brought them home
They somehow know she will be their friend, and they gather at her feet

Many people believe that so called ‘Feral Cats’ can never become pets
But my Cat Woman proves this theory wrong, with the ferals in our home
Once they meet her, and once she showers them with her love and affection
Not one of our former feral cats has ever wanted to run away and again roam

And as I have been a ‘Mid Wife’ helping several homeless canines give birth
My Cat Woman has been by the side of pregnant cats, as they deliver kittens
Mother cats somehow immediately sense that she will not harm their offspring
As she so very gently holds and helps care for their tiny newborns without end

I consider myself to be an extremely lucky man
To be able to share my love of animals with her
And what a better time to honor my Cat Woman
Then ‘Adopt A Cat Month’ listening to them purr
