The Aesop/Guy Showdown!

Well it was bound to happen....Guy stepped over the line at last and Aesop and Roberta had to take matters into their own hands!

Poem Artwork

The days turned into weeks and more
Since Guy had darkened Aesop’s door.
One morning Aesop was still sleeping
Roberta in the kitchen sweeping.

Guy crept into the room with little Roberta
To steal a kiss - not to hurt her…
He grabbed her round her little waist
And kissed her neck and then her face!

Roberta screamed - still holding her broom
She chased old Guy around the room!
With fury she struck at Guy and said,
“You get any closer and I’ll bash your head!”

By then old Aesop arrived at her side
Guy was cowering in the corner trying to hide.
Roberta explained what had occurred,
Aesop more upset with her every word.

He turned to Guy and said with fury,
“I am the judge, Roberta’s the jury
We sentence you to pack and depart
You’re banished from our home and heart!”

Guy packed his stuff and at the front door
Said “I won’t be back - you’ll see me no more!”
“Well that’s fine with us!” said Aesop and wife
“Though brothers we are - you are out of my life!”

Pamela, I sort of hate to see old Guy go,
You've really scripted a very interesting show!

Good riddance to bad trash. Now Aesop and lovely bride can live a Guyless, happy life.

Aaaawwwww! What a sad ending! But very good read! You'll have to put these Aesop series into books. Heeheee!
