a courageous write of faith and conviction, tinks; keep on soaring and looking to the Lord; He'll help you through, and He will NEVER abandon you...EVER! Well done; brava!!

You're right Tinka, there are times, when no matter how powerful and descriptive words may be, they just can't describe the deep inner feelings that we are experiencing in the very core of our being. You have been going through some hard times, but I hope you will take comfort in the thought, that this time, too, will pass! One day, before long, all this will be only a passing thought in your mind, with no feeling nor emotion. That time will come. You hang in there! Love will come your way. You will laugh again and feel that life is more than kind to you. Just wait and see!(wink) Love, Leah
you said exactly what had to be said to get the point across clearly and succinctly with such an eternal and peaceful image...wings of a dove...nice musical choice as well, poet...
the emotional imagery is only matched by its conceptual longing ...
great stuf, Tinka ...

Is that Ferlin Husky I hear in the background? LOL Beautiful poem with expressive wishes of things to come, and you and I both know that they will come. Good.

I keep getting d/c when poems have music. Must be A O HELL..
This one is so serene and peaceful I can almost feel the wings of the doves fanning my heat away. Your new shorter poems are so accurate and honest they strike the heart and soul as if you were talking to us in person. Welll done Tinka,
