I walk in a park
You walk through my dreams
Hand in hand
Through a gardenia’s lane
Of sweet scented roses,
Perfumed jasmines, white Gardenias
Blinding as innocent snow
That decorate my memories
Of old.
I kiss the tenderness
Of your lips
Laced with passionate love
The taste of satisfaction
Awaits me
Upon the nectars
Of your sweet tongue
I’ve craved to savor.
Silvery moonbeams
Filter through shutters
Pilfering shadows from their
Hiding places
Where unseen are their faces
My soul dies
A million deaths
As I face
Another lonely night
where once again passion
Is denied.

The Moonlight is my solitude
It saves me from loneliness
that I face each night without you in my arms.
Once you were here with me,
Now you are so far away.
One can only dream the dream of kings or queens
Victory of the passionate soul
rekindled desires after rejection
can only take a toll.
One can only dream for so long before
reality is apparent.
Can I dream of our tender moments or will they be
only sheer madness from the desire to be with you.
I can only pretend for a bit longer, before I go mad
with desire and hunger for your touch and love.
Come now, tell me you are here,
Let me believe there is an end to this means.
As I awaken from the dream
there are gardenias strewn all around
and the one in my hair carries your scent!
I wish to thank My Co-writer "Amber" for her beautifully written words which completes and compliments, my presention, of this collaborations, for she is truly talented and a pleasure to co-write with, thank you my "Dear Friend".
