One Lone Buzzard

 One Lone Buzzard
~*~

 
A lone Buzzard
Perched atop a  pole
I spied
Looking old and haggard
Ruffled feathers
“Poor ugly Guy”
I said to no one there.

I asked him, and You are?
Without saying a word,
He managed
One humble stare in my direction.

Answering
Within my thoughts
An old tired Buzzard
Just like you.

I respectfully bowed to him
Bid him a good  day
Disappearing back  into my house.
