There was once
A charming and beautiful
Southern Comfort
About the den
That I remember
Every now and then.

A comfort that brought moments
Of great Pleasure
To read them was true relaxation
Words that send me
Setting my mind and soul a free.

A Southern Comfort
That made men search desperately
Through the files
Of a den’s front page.

As delicious scenes
Ransacked the inside of their brains
Needing a taste of sensuousness,
To awaken dormant, inspired dreams.

I miss that Southern Comfort
Of yesterday
That left words behind
Echoing through the corridors
Of My mind
Searching for creative inspiration
Only that
Southern Comfort appreciates.
