Who Is To Blame?

The cowardly clowns
Of a nation
Refuse to investigate
There own
By not knowing
Who, what, when and where
As they run for cover
Or to slither under
A rock
While blaming each other.
As citizens die
And have their rights
Violated and trample upon.

These same clowns
Are rushing to justice
to have another clown
From the opposition
Who used the same excuses
Of no knowledge
Thoroughly
Investigate to the hilt
Via federal Probe
“Praying It wont be anal“
Because of a traffic Jam
Causing discomfort
To the residents
Somewhere in East Cupcake
Northeast of this good old
U S of A

The politicians surely are gaining momentum in the negative zone of our brains. When will we be able to find our way out of all the mess that they have created??? who knows, who can anyone trust at this point?
Good poem to make your readers get fired up...I am not usually political but your poem stimulated my response lol
Much peace, love and light,
Amber

In order to gather more of the political pie, the opposition quite often uses innuendo, half-truths, outright lies, and worst of all, dirty tricks to vilify the "enemy." The spin doctors have done this with such success that extreme polarization has occurred and nothing can get done because cooperation is considered to be too "weak" in the heated debate over what is right and what is wrong for this country.

Unfortunately, this kind of thing has been going on since the onset of our country and won't stop anytime soon. Greed and fame (infamy is more productive) are the name of the game. Once reached, fame brings spoils… And once one has spoils, the more, the merrier.

We just love that scapegoat game until the finger is pointed right at us, and we can't dodge the bullet. Great poem.
