A centurion
Walked through the crowd
Knelt before the preacher
Said to him Master
can you help My son?
He is on his dying bed
The preacher said lead the way
The Centurion replied
Are there words you Can say
To heal him?
I am shameful
You should enter
My dwelling
For sin reside within
The preacher
Stared at the centurion
And said onto him
Go home your son Awaits you
Knowing the preacher
Spoke the truth
He grabbed his hand
As he knelt before Him
And on it placed a kiss
Uttering tearful words
Of thanks
The preacher was Christ
Thank me not
Your faith has saved him.
Faith has saved a lot of people. Things that were considered impossible are made possible through one's belief. When you have faith you would believe in yourself and others. Great poem, William!
