A Don Quixote
Look alike clown
Crooner
To crone France a tune
Sounding more like a cat
In heat

Somebody screwed up, but you were watching and properly scolded the fools in your poem.
Sometimes we have to put ourselves in other people's shoes. That can be very hard when we've never, ever been close to those shoes to even know what they look like.
