The Smiles
~~~*~~~
I asked her
As I held her
In a gentle embrace
Whispering
Into the softness
Of her ear
Will my lips
Ever experience
The sweetness
Of your ambrosia
Again?
She kissed me tenderly
With a snide Mona Lisa
Smile
Stating “we will see”
Leaving me standing there
With a smile upon my face
And anticipation
I n my heart.
Ah! I love this. I think that's a great analogy about the Mona Lisa smile. So completely private and yet also seductive. Nice!
Anticipation seems I've experienced this also.
She saw something she liked in you. it's normal to smile when liking a person.
