Spring is in the air
Kiss her if you dare
A mockingbird
Welcomes me in my morning
As she for me
Sang a melody.
Walking on the beach
Inspired me
With it’s warm breeze
along the shore
Soaking my feet
In the surf.
A seagull soaring silently
Before diving seeking
Favorite treats within
The sea
Will dwell in my thoughts
Eternally.
Holding hands we walk
Our hearts singing
In rhythm as one
Inhaling the sweet scent
Of flowers wild
In the clover field
By the sea
As we share loving
Smiles.
