While you were sleeping I thought of you
Your wonderful wit...your anger too
That awesome appeal with hands that are great
The way that you touch me... for goodness sake
Its a fancy I need with the love I can use
The heart of this man and the soul of a muse
Nature all wound up and packaged so neat
Pieces of heaven and tasting so sweet
No diet control... I could never win
I'd dine on your passions again and again
It's awesome and filling, it's fate and it's love
It pushes toward heaven and backwards the shove
It's lightning and thunder with filtered rain
It's cleansing a heart once full of pain
It's healing treasures and warming like toast
Gregarious virtues and rhythms that boast
It's wet... sometimes wild... and hard things that burst
It's love and it's you... then its quenching a thirst
I thought of you and goosebumps broke out
Along with mixed climaxes
Deep breathes and shouts
My mind is alive while yours is asleep
Warming to pleasures in your soul... I keep.
