Thoughts, Rain and An Afternoon

It's been an awesome deluge of rain and passion throughout Georgia. It started last night and it rained all throughout the day. I love the passion of rain and when it's colder, I find myself alive and warmer than most other times.

Poem Artwork

"Hey Sweetheart", she said from another room.

He sensed her, knew she was there, somewhere.

He thought, at least , that he heard her.
She hummed in a whisper,"Hey
Sugar."
He knew he heard her voice again.

Up until now she was a thought, an inquisitive moment when she
settled in his mind.

Its rained for the better part of 100% today.
Its taken a day to make metal
cold through and through.
Even the bones of those working out in
the elements are affected.

He calls this change in weather a contrast.
She sees it as a woman's perogative for change.

Afterall, Mother Nature is a woman. Change is a perogative for a woman.

A man would whine at so many changes and so many mouths to feed.

A woman would always find a way to feed her babies.

A man would make a comfortable haven for his loved ones while a woman would see that all is fed and put down for the night.

A man would grin for his mate afterwards and the woman would smile from
inside, comfortably.

Its our world and it's nature, passion and rain with a soothing and mellow
suggestion for the evening.

"What would I do?" he whispered into the night air.
"What would you do indoors
with me?" he asked of her image, again.

"Hey honey"...she smiled .
He felt it as her eyes spoke silently.

It is the way of he and she.
The tease and the underlying tenderness of two good spirits trying to tingle the other's spiritual depth.

Its waiting for time.

"What pleasures you on a rainy cold day?" The words flew around corners and
exercized the empty spaces with warm currents.

Its more than the thrill of a soft pillow or the warm moistness of the flesh.
It's anticipation of an ease that is charmed with silence and the air
that comes alive in a single charge of passion.

"He heard her words, again.

She always tastes them before she spits them out.

Love those rainy days. Nice work about nature, the nature of sex and resolution. Ahhh, home sweet home. Oh yes, I'm all tucked in the new place.

Rain oxygenates the air, therefore it has not only made you feel warmer and more alive physically, it has also fired the potency of your romantic and sensual muse.

She always tastes them before she spits them out.

This line in particular gave the piece an innate edge - I am left to ponder why she 'spat' out her own words.
Moreover, maybe it's the way my mind moves, but I always sense something of the dance in your rhythm style. Listen, if you can, to the rhythm of the dialogue between Nicole's character and her dance partner near the begining of Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut. This interactive write here fits comfortably into that captivating mode.

Charming write for a rainy day for sure and the very voice of desire as male and female souls are opened up for perusal with each their own indiosyncrisies but finally coming together in love and desire that melts the days and all this to the beat of the rain. Beautiful sweet Susan, beautiful.
