often reveal the heart of the matter quite effectively.

Never has this truism been more eloqently or beautifully expressed, Susan. Such a glance penetrates time, distance, place and is one of soul-longing and soul-bearing. Such a glance renders us naked to the core, yet sublimely covered from head-to-toe in love at the same time. Sweet irony, to be sure! :)) xx
