The State of Love

When you live in a state of love and are indifferent to anything else
Your mind becomes delusional at the expense of logic itself
Your heart aches for no reason and
you stare at nothing at all
You have no common allowance of sense and your pulse is bouncing a ball
Your feet don't belong where they were put and instead they levitate freely
Your eyes shine as though in the dark while sparks are emitted ... really!
Your smile is as wide as anything physical and it almost breaks your face
Your gate is lifted on air at times ... at others it slows down the pace
Your heart beats outside of your chest and drool slithers down your cheek
You never eat since love's taken over, well ... maybe, once a week
The colors you see are exaggerated
and move in celestial ways
You never know what the date is and your work has now become play
Whoa unto lovers of the romantic heart ... its wonderlust for very few
Those who pleasure their passions just right ... echo
saying "I love you !"
