Somewhere between forever and never,
Not the fulcrum, just the lever,
And I wonder where I am now.
Those ideas I had yesterday,
The ones that in my mind still play,
But make no sense somehow.
What the heck is going on?
Where am I, where has the world gone?
Is there any voice within the fog?
So I look to the Sun, somehow obscured,
Somehow not fully refered,
It's light a tangled mass of clog.
Okay, so I am somewhere?
In a place that might care?
Who can save me now?
I will wait for the Goddess moon,
May it yet come soon,
And shed it's light on me somehow.
Love, escaping me each day,
Hope, slithers by in it's reptilian way,
Until my eyes are dark and cold.
Here then I ask for what may,
And what is left that I can say,
And here then I grow old.
Give me the directions back home,
So that I may finally no longer roam,
In this cold and empty place,
Which has no charm and has no grace....
