Mom had no choice but to escape my fathers violent ways, so she ran with her babies.
I was nine, my oldest brother was thirteen. Momma was running from, daddy mean. Little sis was about seven, we all prayed for help, from God in heaven.
The others were even younger, sooner or later we would all hunger. But we stayed hidden in the woods, hiding from dads bad moods. Mommy was leaving my father, until this day he still doesn't bother.
This was many years ago, but the memory will never go. Afterwards we suffered much, it was very hard to stay in touch. I'm down here on this earth, still suffering from my early birth.
This reaches to the depth of my soul, Grady. I have similar sentiment in a poem that I wrote title "Survival." Thank you for sharing this. It is very meaningful and can hopefully help with healing. Love and peace to you. Regis

This is sad Grady and I am so sorry that you went through this but I hope that she did escape with her children. So I send a hug through the net to you in the den.
