There has been a shake up,
truly affecting my make up.
After careful consideration,
hate got an elimination.
Love got an overhaul,
some love is better
than no love at all.

I embrace what God tried to do,
he gave love to me and you.
I accept the love He tried to give,
the best life is to love & forgive.
Loving and forgiving isn't easy,
in a world full of mean & sleazy.

Many times I've tried the make up,
only to have love break up.
Trying to love humanity,
drives one almost to insanity.
Keeping a loving mate,
almost drives one through hells gate.
Love for self,
for a long time met ears deft.

Still I prefer love,
no matter how much negativity shove.
I love humanity,
I'll bare the insanity.
I love my mate,
it's apart of my fate.
I love myself most of all,
it's the best reason
love came to call.
