Without taste, a lot of good stuff would go to waste.

Poem Artwork

Taste something good
you'll chase it like a
termite after wood
Taste something bad
you'll wish you never had
You might end up
feeling sad
So it's back to the good
that made you glad
If you can back step
before another intercept

Some things end up being
too good to be true
Later on you end feeling
sad and blue
The attractive man or woman
ended up messing over you
That great tasting food
tasted so darn good
it really enhanced and
satisfied your mood
That is until the doctor
ordered you to slow your roll
before it takes its toll

So here I sit
a victim of good food and
can hardly quit
or cut down on it
Good taste stalks
and the bull walks
but make no mistake
I'll even make
the bull a steak

I used to be embarrassed to ask for a doggie bag at a restaurant
not anymore, if something is good I am taking it home.

When I make french toast for my grand kids, they say I want 3 grandpa
but only eat 2, so guess who eats the untouched left overs,
You got it Grandpa........

Happy New Year
