Quite a few can't look
into the mirror
They might see inferior
Can't much blame
It means facing it all
even shame
In short
end of the blame game
The first frontier
is facing life down here
The second frontier is
facing our inner being
makes no difference
poor man queen or king
Looking in the mirror
can hurt
afterwards the findings
can surely flirt
especially if they include
some kind of dirt
It takes a strong person
to face up
revise and lace up
especially if the mirror image
includes corrupt
Eyes that can't face
end their insight abrupt
no need to interrupt
One of my favorite songs is "Just as I am." I believe God loves me so I make no apologies for myself. Although sometimes I should be inclined to more than others.

This is full of insight, a friend once told me when I was younger and questioned my own self worth to look in the mirror and to say allowed the things I liked about myself the things the Lord gave me, it got me to thinking in a whole new way.
